Fort Worden overlooks the Strait of Juan de Fuca here in Washington. It was constructed to protect the Puget sound from attack in World War II. It now stands as a state park; nature is gradually reclaiming the maze-like concrete structures.
I have no idea what these rectangles were used for. They are at one of the many gun-emplacements at the Fort.
